Honesdale Borough is seeking a Pool Manger. The manager position is one of leadership, through group leadership. Master the manual of operations, including knowledge of all policies and procedures. Maintain an attitude of committed maturity and strive to be a positive example to staff and the public.
As a Pool Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool facility and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Your duties will include: Managing pool staff and ensuring they are properly trained and following all safety protocols; Providing exceptional customer service to pool guests, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise; Enforcing pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all swimmers; Monitoring water quality and chemical levels in the pool, making adjustments as necessary; Conducting regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance or repair needs; Planning and coordinating special events and activities at the pool, such as swim lessons or pool parties; overseeing the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area, including restrooms, changing rooms, and surrounding grounds.
Salary commensurate with experience. Pay range $17 – $24 per hour. Background check required. Alcohol and Drug testing Program.
