The Honesdale Borough Council will convene a public hearing at 6:30 P.M. on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Borough Hall, 958 Main Street, Honesdale, Pennsylvania, to consider an application for Conditional Use under Sections 210-9, 210-10 and 210-38 and Articles IV and V of the Honesdale Borough Zoning Ordinance. The application has been filed by Tadao Masuyama and Hatsue Masuyama, 421 Grove Street, as owner of the subject property, and being described as Wayne County Tax Parcel 11-0-0012-0039 and described in Wayne County Record Book 6173 at Page 2. The applicants seek permission to operate a short-term rental establishment at that location. The parcel is located in the R-2 Single-Family Residential Zone District. Such a use is a use permitted under the provisions of a Conditional Use in that zone. The full application request may be examined by contacting the Borough Secretary for an appointment to do same.
